Janie’s infectiously positive attitude, self-driven motivation and leadership skills make her an asset to TSAO Design Group. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science at Florida International University and is a Florida licensed Interior Designer. Janie started at TSAO Design Group as a project coordinator and is now one of four Principals.  Janie serves as Studio Director at TSAO Design Group Miami managing staffing, project loads, agency coordination and consultant coordination.

Passionate and enthusiastic about Art and Design, as well as serving her Clients, Janie welcomes each project as her own. Sensitive to Client’s needs and with a second Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology, Janie is trained to listen intensely and translate her Client’s objectives.  With an expertise in Retail Design, retail philosophy and the psychology of purchasing, Janie has worked with such clients as Federated Department Stores, Sephora, Off Broadway Shoes, among others. Organization and the simplification of complex tasks allow Janie to navigate the most challenging of projects, leading the projects down the road of success.

Born in the Midwest and early childhood upbringing in Northern Florida Janie is a Floridian at heart. Family roots in Santiago, Chile instill in Janie a love of culture and diversity.
